Issue with iMessage on iPhone

For a while now whenever I first begin tying a message, it get's stuck and then whatever I type just appears. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. I just updated mine a few days ago—honestly can’t remember if it started before or after. Also receiving texts and not getting notifications if the person responds right when I message them.

Same here. It started on mine with the first new iOS and has continued with the updates.

same here....been ever since iOS 14 update...have an iphone 8+...damn apple trying to get me to buy another phone

Nah, it’s happening to 11/12s too. They have much more effective ways of killing your 8+ to get you to upgrade.

damn, that's crazy....glad it's just not my "old phone" being problematic.
i've also found myself having to reboot my phone more often because group texts will all of a sudden start failing to send.

This is an interesting thread because it happened to me once yesterday and I thought it was odd. Hasn't happened since.
