Looking to replace my Note 4 that is about to crap out. Bought my wife the Motorola G5 Plus (which she really likes) and I'm thinking bout getting one for myself also. Don't want to spend more than $300-350. Is it the best bang for your buck phone out right now?

Get the 64GB version, not necessarily for the extra storage, but because it has 4GB ram compared to 2GB.

$240 and BH and possibly less with a republic wireless coupon

I paid $169 for mine at Costco (on sale for 50 bucks off). I like it a lot.

It is currently $219 at Costco. You might want to see if they drop the price again before Christmas.

That was for the 32gb or 64gb?

I had the second gen Moto G and thought it was great. Half the price of top end phones (at the time) but more than half as good.

Doubt that is very helpful, but I think these types of phones are a great way to go.

Target and Walmart both have the 32 GB Motorola G5 Plus (unlocked) for $199, right now, and Best Buy has the 64 GB model for $239.

This is a really solid phone. No bloatware, and fairly close to stock Android 7.0.

I think I'm going to go with the G5S (updated model) instead because of the improved camera over the G5. My wife has the G5 Plus and loves everything about it, except she wishes the camera produced better photos.

Is the Moto Z2 Play considered a better phone than the Motorola G5S Plus?

Just picked up a Z2 Force for my wife on Cyber Monday $300 with the projector mod. Have a nearly new 64gb Gold G5 Plus going up on swappa when I get back from Texas in a week. She says except for the screen she can't tell much of a difference between the two.

Where did you find the Z2 Force for only $300? Also, is the Z2 Play supposed to be a better phone than the G5S Plus?

Bus, I can get that phone and slap my sim card in it from ATT and it'll work just like that? I mean maybe a call to ATT or something but you get my point?

That's pretty fricking rad.

Yes. If the phone is GSM ready. I don't think there are any that are not. CDMA usually has the problems (Verizon).

You might run into sim card size difference. If it is, just run to ATT and ask for the size and then just call the 800 number and get it activated.

Now I'm trying to decide between the Moto Z2 Play 64gb or Moto G5S Plus 64gb. Both are $350. What phone is the better bang for your buck right now? Which one has the better camera?
