They have amazing prices on a ton of stuff and offer 15% off of first 3 orders. No tax free shipping. However I feel hesitant Bay there's Asian font on the site and they don't take Paypal.

Has anyone had any purchases on this site?

I'm pretty sure they are or will soon be owned by WalMart.

It seems to be an Amazon like site on the rise, but cheaper prices

Lol. Can you imagine a scam company "lucking" into a valuable 3 letter URL like Jet.com?

We get cat litter from there. Have been getting it for almost a year now with no issue.

I don't know what that's about. The real jet.com is legit, just make sure you're really there.

We ordered some very large items from them for work.

Got them in and they were different even though the picture was what we wanted.

They sent a label and we sent them back.

Other than that they were quick to respond to everything. And shipping was super quick for these large items.

If I were ordering and new what I was looking for, id use them.

If i didn't know what I was looking for id call them to make sure what was pictured was actually what was for sale.

If you live in New Orleans, Louisiana or pretty much anywhere, you will be charged tax.

They're owned by Wal-Mart.

My mistake, it's not tax free.
However, prices are really good on the items I am targeting. Especially with the 15% off.

Yep, Walmart is tired of getting it's arse kicked online by Amazon. Look for jet.com to start making some noise soon. It's going to pick up steam. Don't know if they can catch up to Amazon but it's good for the consumer either way.

Norton flags the website as safe.

Yes they're safe.

They launched about 2 years ago as a marketplace competitor to Amazon and they were a paid membership place at first.

Then nobody bought memberships so they dropped that part.

Now they are just trying to keep afloat.

Jet is basically a glorified drop shipper. You buy from them, and they send the order to one of their merchants based on reliability and proximity to you.

Guy behind it has started multiple online retail startups that have Amazon watching. The first one was bought out by Amazon to keep it from Wal Marks. His non compete was up and he created Jet.com.

Basically, he uses algorithms and a basic principle that revolves around offering discounts on products when purchased in sequence together or based on a multi-product order. It produces results that seem to trigger people buying more items and is something Wal-Mart desperately wanted as they are gearing up to do battle vs Amazon. Sooner rather than later.
