I use onn 4k plus and onn4ks. Always tivimate on those.

I also have a rather simple proxy and a vpn between so maybe that adds complexity but I use the exact same config with another service and it works much better. Maybe I can try another vpn route or something.
The fact it literally has the same channels and portal style of PIA and basically had identical reliability for me makes me think IPT==PIA.

Im pretty sure IPT runs multiple cloned torrent sites snd streaming. I read something on Reddit about this a year ago. The user supplied links. I’ll try find it and show you. It was kinda crazy.

Is it an invite only service? I searched on google and I'm not sure if its the same provider.

How are these boxes? They seem to be in high demand because every Wal Mart I check, they are out of stock.

They are not in high demand. Speculation is that ONN is releasing a new version of the ONN device which is why they are not restocking the shelves.

Oh great, now we have ONN conspiracies. The 4k and 4k+ are already new. It’s their max or whatever that is aged. The remote finder is legit though.

I wanted to buy one the other day at my local WM but they were under lock and key and couldn't find an associate to help. They had about 5-6 behind the glass case. Went home and ordered one online for pickup about an hour later. Get a notification a few hours later that they canceled my order because they were now out of stock.

Amazon and eBay are selling them for double. No Wal-mart within a 100 miles has any. I would say they are a hot item right now.

It depends on which one you saw. I guarantee that you didn’t see the ONN 4K Pro but possibly the ONN standard device which is available at some stores. The lack of inventory makes it look like people want them, but they have been pulled from the stores.

Which ones were pulled? I was actually able to get a 4K Plus yesterday.

I use both Pro and Plus versions and I can't tell the difference in performance. I'm glad they're updating the design, but from my perspective there's no need so I also have a foot in the "don't fix what ain't broken" camp.

Plus is newer and has better chip. Pro has the remote finder but needs an update to be flagship again.

I'm starting to read through this thread and wanting to upgrade my live tv and starting to research IPTV.

Honestly I only need it for live sports outside of local channels I already get via my antenna.

My previous set up was just using USA tv on Stremio, but that no longer functions as well as it used to.

I will eventually read through this long thread, but where do I start? I do have onn 4k and a Google TV.

I don't need anything too complex. I'm guessing step 1 is get tivimate. Is step 2 VPN (is it needed? I've never used one before with Stremio) and step 3 find IPTV provider through trial and error?

Might be. I was back on jellyfin an dispatcharr. Had this beautiful curated channel lineup…. Then this morning, IPTV service changed their links and all my channels are broken.

Maybe you should just always browse 600k movies/shows/channels

Naw. Took 10-12 minutes to rebuild channels and VOD. Been there, done that. Only time this service did that in 8 months. If they do it again I just make a script to re-pair.

Are you sure you didn't create a new link? I'm still running fine with Plex, dispatcher, and IPTV

Naw, it was just my provider. One of the low key tech board guys, not the loudmouth. Not mad. First time it happened. All my dispatcharr channels went red. Surprised it doesn’t already have a re-link algo but this is the first time that happened and it’s been several months so I’m happpy to just make a new lineup and call it a day. Already have scripts for VOD parsing.

I generalized IPT's IPTV with you for some reason. Disregard my message
