Youtube TV at least gave extra channels when they went up.
Sure I didn’t want them but it wasn’t just a random price increase for nothing.
I feel as if Google doesn’t mind subsidizing the cost of YouTube TV for the long term ad revenue play by them.

We really need one of these providers to start offering a la carte. I really feel like this is what people really want. Not sure how it would work but I have a feeling that networks are trying to keep this from happening.

Switching to YouTube tv

“Testing” Hulu Live this week after cancelling PS Vue and I get an email on the price increase, haha.
I’m liking the sports layout today, makes it super easy to navigate between games.
I was gonna test out YTTV also, although no A&E. One of my guilty pleasures is Live PD & First 48.

The providers don't have much say so in this. It's all dictated by the programmers.

This. If YTTV goes up in price, I'll just cancel after football season, live with the other services I have, and restart with one of the services next fall.
That's what I've been doing for the last three years. I don't care very much for basketball, so the rest of the year I use Netflix or Prime video.
If the prices for YTTV go up for next season, I may just go back to cable next fall. No sense in using YTTV and eating up my data allotment if the prices are the same now.

I guess I'll try YTTV. I was about to pull the trigger on Hulu live, but I read that you can only use it on your home network. I liked the idea of unlimited screens and thought I could use it at home and the camp. Apparently I was wrong.

Dropped Hulu this week. Will do youtube for a month then drop that once football season is over then it philo for the next 9 months. Well Streaming is getting almost as bad as cable now

I'm going to do this as well.
But soon, these streaming services might start making you sign 2-year contracts.

Philo has A&E for $20/month.
I have that for livetv, and hulu plus (free through phone plan) prime video, netflix, xboxlive, disney+, and I'm currently on a trial for YTTV. I dont think I'm going to keep it. they all start to feel overwhelming after awhile.

Posted this in another thread but it's virtually impossible to switch between live games on Hulu Live. It often reverts back to a point much earlier in the game and I can't get back to where I was. I thought this was only when I was trying to watch a game as I was recording it but it happened the other night when I was watching LSU/OM (wasn't recording). Had people at my house and I was bragging on the Hulu layout until this shite started happening and I was eating my words. Anybody else?
This is literally the only complaint I have so far that would warrant me cancelling and swapping to YTTV, but it's a big one.

I've only ever had this happen when I was recording and I'm constantly flipping between games on Saturdays.

This is what I do. I use sling during football season.

They will basically out price themselves out the market.
