From $50.99 to $60.99

Seems steep to me

So aggravating. Time to start looking around again I guess.

I pray YouTube TV doesn't go up.

It does. I don't see why I'd stay with Hulu with Live TV now over YouTube TV when YTTV also gives me AMC.

Youtube TV FTW, unless they raise their prices too.

That’s the thing. They’re more than likely going to raise their rates.

YouTubeTV has already gone up $10/month since I've had it.

The main thing that keeps me from doing this is having to have a box in every room now and not having a contract.

I enjoy the month to month nature of streaming and still have everything that I watched on cable to begin with.

This. If YTTV goes up in price, I'll just cancel after football season, live with the other services I have, and restart with one of the services next fall.

I have spectrum cable and I’m able to watch Live TV using the Spectrum App on my Amazon Firestick. only need the boxes for recording shows.

Anyone who followed Cable/Entertainment industry knew this would happen. The prices were completely unsustainable. Disney + will begin raising prices shortly.

frick all that

Cutting at the end of football season. Hulu live has been super inconsistent with live sports anyway. First day of the NBA season it was unwatchable

The OTT streaming providers have to deal with the same programmers that traditional cable providers have to. Raising rates was inevitable because the programmers constantly raise the rates when their agreements are renewed with the providers.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but been considering some streaming service/services.

I have Amazon Prime, but haven't been watching much online movies, but would like to start.

I see now you can get disney plus for $8 or that plus hulu and espn plus for $13.

If you were getting a streaming service or even two that complement each other, what would you get and why?

I called to cancel my directv this week and “cut the cord” we have had it so long they offered me a rate of $40/month for 2yrs if I stayed with them, my current package which is grandfathered and before the offer was $90/month - couldn’t pass that up.

Yea this is BS, just good long enough to rope the big crowd in & hit them with a price increase.
I’ll be exploring my options.

Just cancelled mine. I'll check out YTTV and see if I like that.
