Seems ridiculous for a laptop. I also don't understand why someone would want a touch screen laptop.

I don't mind touchscreens... when I want to scroll or click on something fast, I can just press it on screen. With that being said, I can do without one as well.

Takes a while getting used to a non-touch after having one

RAM is expensive, OLED is expensive, you're buying a porsche of laptops, there's also a huge markup.

We're looking at the 14" as an alternative to the Neo, because reasons. The new XPS has graded out very well against the Neo, and HP is about to drop their competitor (hasn't been reviewed yet that I've seen.)

I've had multiple touch screen laptops, including the one I'm typing on now, and have nearly never touched the screen. I've always been the guy that yells, "POINT, DON'T TOUCH MY SCREEN MF'er!"

But, when I hand my laptop to a less tech savvy person (GF, and teenagers), the touch screen hits for zooming and moving. Fiddling around with the part of the trackpad which zooms when you contort yourself somehow on the trackpad is vastly inferior.
