Anyone have a review of their service? I am currently with Verizon and the service has been horrible. I used to have T-Mobile, and loved the service.

Thinking about google fi because I can get 4 lines for $80 with 4 free pixel 7as. Is there much throttling compared to T-Mobile?

I had, Google Fi, 3 or 4 years ago. It was, "ok." I eventually went back to Verizon.

Ultimately, your experience is going to depend on your market and personal needs. Like, I had terrible luck with T-Mobile. It was decent in a big city, but as soon as I left the city; it was dogshit. (Like < 1 Mbps bad.)

Tried AT&T. Better than T-Mobile and Google-Fi, but worse than Verizon.

There's nothing wrong with trying different providers. I'm hesitant to recommend signing a contract with an unknown asset. Even if you have some kind of trial period you're going to get hit up with several fees.

Sorry if that's not much help, but service can vary wildly. You can be just a street over and get worse service than someone else.

It is T-Mobile towers. As long as T-Mobile is good where you are then Fi will be good. Have had it for quite some time and it has been excellent.

Yea, I was mostly concerned with throttling. Like do T-Mobile post paid customers get priority in congested areas?

No throttling. Only if you run out of data. I have the simply unlimited plan. 35gb per phone which ive never come close to. One of my reasons for switching to Fi. Was with visible.

Fi uses T-Mobile so you'll probably be happy.

In on Fi in Europe and I rarely get 5g. It's pretty slow.

I posted a review a couple of months back. If you are happy with T-Mobile you should get similar coverage.

Here is the link.

To piggy back on the question instead of starting a new topic, what type of taxes/fees are you guys with Fi getting charged on top of the monthly? Have been debating the $80/mo v $135/month for 3 lines.

My bill is alittle over 90 bucks a month with all the taxes and fees. So far, I've been extremely happy with my service and the pixel 7a

This. I've never come close, especially since I use wifi at home.

Service is okay where I live, but it's no worse than Verizon or T-Mobile, which I had before I switched to Google Fi.

They also have some great deals on unlocked phones. You just have to maintain e service for 3 or 4 months to keep the phone not 2 years, like some services.

If you like T-mobile's network, also check out Tello. It is very budget friendly and no contracts.
