I am interested in the Helix as well. Thinking about purchasing one in the next few weeks.

Yes please do. I like how this one is a little more personalized for your needs. I was looking at some review videos last night and one guy said the spring configuration in the mattress was a bit different than he expected compared to the other internet manufactures. But he didn't elaborate on it any further but he was very happy with his purchase.

I came close to getting the Ghost Bed, but wound up getting the Purple Mattress. That was about 3 months ago...Love the Purple.

I was thinking about the purple as well. Depending on how the Ghost Bed goes, that one is on my next up list as well. They say the return process is painless. We shall see.

I would never recommend buying a mattress online. You don't get to try it first and they're not east to return if ou don't end up liking it. While all these companies say they have an easy return policy there are a lot of stipulations on returning mattresses. OSHA has several regulations on products like these that the companies have to abide by. Any company, not just Casper or eight sleep. And while these companies have reasonable price points ($800-$1000 ish) they haven't been around long enough to know how they hold up.

Bub you must be in business to sell $1500+ mattresses.

So take this for instance a $1500 mattress will last 10 years on average. I paid 800 for a king size ghostbed....so if it lasts 5 years I'm golden. I'm already a year in and I'm extremely happy and haven't seen any signs of product issues.

For the OP to further complicate things...

We bought a Saatva (King/Luxury Firm) and are thrilled with it. Their staff was courteous & helpful but in no way did they ever push a sale. Their order system is streamlined with notifications keeping you informed along the eay. We were as impressed with the buying experience as with the product. They are no doubt worthy of a serious look.

Looking for an ultra firm mattress, but most of these companies are all one size fits all.

Any suggestions?

Helix isn't one size fits all, but I have yet to know someone to get one.

OSHA has very few industry specific standards. If you can point me to some specific mattress standards under 29 CFR 1910, I would be very surprised. Otherwise, STFU and go back to your sales floor. No wonder Serta uses Sheep in their commercials. That is what they count on...sheeple

My wife and I have always had spring mattresses -- typically for much longer than their actual lifespan. Is there any way to test out a memory foam like these in a store -- even if it just an equivalent classic brand (Serta, etc.) of similar quality?

We have somewhat different sleep styles, and it would be nice to know that we would both be comfortable on one of these.. but not sure if it's a waste of time to roll around on a mattress in a store if these online products end up being inferior quality

I have a Tuft & Needle mattress which is considered the firmest of these type of mattresses. I absolutely love it.

I've had my T&N online mattress for 3 yrs now. It's still perfect. No sagging like my $1500 Sealy after 3 yrs. I will never buy a a traditional mattress again.
