Does ESPN+ come with YouTubeTV or do you have to pay an extra fee?

I am a long time Cox customer who recently switched to YouTubeTV. I tried unsuccessfully to watch the LSU football game last night. When we first subscribed to YouTubeTV a few months ago we were able to watch ESPN+ but only for a month or so and then we were unable to watch for free. Now when we access the channel it says we must pay $9.99 per month. Am I supposed to have free access as a YouTubeTV subscriber or was that just a free trial period and now have to pay? Been trying to figure it out. Thanks.

ESPN+ is a completely different service that you pay $10 a month to use.

Mostly comprised of events that are not and never will be on TV

Your YouTube sub entitles you to see everything aired on ESPN channels and anything that’s listed as SEC Network+

You need to sign into the ESPN app with your YouTube TV credentials. You 100% could have watched the game last night.

I guess the confusion is that when you buy a cable, satellite, or streaming subscription that has the SEC Network in it, you automatically get access to anything streaming on SEC Network+. This is not the case with ESPN+. If you have ESPN, it does not automatically mean you have ESPN+. You have to purchase ESPN+ separately.

You were able to watch the LSU game last night. The game was on SECN+ as well as ESPN+. When the SEC Network has multiple shows/events the will go on SECN+ since they can't show them all on SEC Network at the same time. It's basically an alternate channel. So basically if anything is airing onSECN+ you can watch it through YoutubeTV. In order to do that, you need to log in to either the ESPN app or website using you YoutubeTV credentials. Hope that makes sense.

Because you pay for YouTube TV, you have access to SECN+, but for whatever reason the feed wouldn’t load for awhile!

ESPN+ is an additional subscription fee unless you have that Disney bundle that includes Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+.

The only LSU sporting events that will only be on ESPN+ are a couple of midweek away baseball games. 98 percent of baseball, all of basketball (I think), and the random football game that isn’t televised will be SECN+ which you will have to have SEC network via a cable or a streaming service. You login to the ESPN app and enter your service info

No idea, but if you have Verizon check whether the Hulu Disney ESPN+ bundle comes your plan. We don't pay anything.
