Spotify, apple music, itunes, youtube......any other ones I didn't name. Trying to find the best route to listen to music through my phone and listen to specific songs I want to hear, which is the best route?

Thanks

I've used all but Spotify is my choice. Easy to navigate and add different playlists.

I prefer Amazon Music but we have a ton of Amazon products in our household. I do find that at the gym, the Radio selection is good and consistent.

I liked Apple Radio for a time but for example, I'd have "NF" as a radio station (a rapper) and then I'd fast forward a track and all of a sudden Luke Bryan is playing. How's that even remotely close to "NF" the radio station, is beyond me.

Free or paid? I like Spotify the best from the standpoint of managing music but you can't play any song you want on demand in the free tier.

With a large family Amazon Music Unlimited won for us. $15/month and everyone can have their own profile with playlists, stations and library.

Yes. I switched from amazon prime music to Apple Music. I find the selection is better. I have not used Spotify, from what I understand they are very similar in what they do.

A very cool feature for Apple Music is how it interactions with Imessage you can send a song an it streams to the end user. I assume they have to be an Apple Music user but my entire family is so i cannot say what happens if you are not.

It works with Carplay and Siri does a great job of finding the songs you want.

Apple Music. I’m not an Apple guy and only have an iPhone due to work. I’ve tried several platforms and think Apple Music is the best. Which hurts me to admit that.

I ended up with google play when researching the best family plans for us because the kids get a lot more use out of youtube red than any music app.

Anything that encourages MORE youtube use I am staying away from. It is already a battle to get my 13yo away from it long enough to say hi.

I prefer Tidal premium, but it's pricey. If you listen to a ton of music it's well worth the cost. If you only listen when you work out I would stick with a free option.

If you went the Tidal route I would also recommend picking up a dac amp and a good set of wired headphones. It sounds amazing.

I just call them bums and tell them I'm gonna divorce their mom if she tries to let them live in our house once they're 18. Can't watch videos if you're crying

If you have an iPhone, go with Apple Music. It’s the only service that works with Siri. You can just ask Siri to play anything anytime. It’s really useful, especially when you’re listening while driving. Or you just don’t feel like getting up to change the music.
