it's the 650. I believe the only difference between the 650 and 700 is the rechargeable batteries in the 700 and the color
Think I may get the 700 then. Price is good even if not refurb and I don't need to control but a few things.

I've been happy with it so far. Set-up was pretty painless, and it's nice to be able to make tweaks to it via the app as opposed to hooking it to a computer everytime.
The Hub works well, being able to control Bluetooth devices like the FireTV and the PS4 was the reason I bought it- more specifically for the FireTV.
I'll probably end up getting some additional smart outlets that work in conjunction with it to control lamps in my living room.

Haha! I have one as well for my 2nd girl. It LITERALLY is the tits. Better than tits to be honest. I love the thing, especially at 2am and when you wanna murder your kid. Just push a button and in 15 seconds, the little shite shuts up.

Free upgrade to Genie DirecTV equipment; new dish too. Much faster and MUCH better picture than the old DVR boxes. It also never hiccuped in three nights of pouring rain we had recently. The old dish and boxes would have frozen some under similar circumstances.
Samsung 40" 1080p smart TV at SAMs for $368. Replaced an old Vizio in the bedroom. Picture is great, and the price was too.

Cant use it anymore since my daughter got put on this new super special super expensive formula, but damn it was nice while it lasted.
Holy crap, where was this thing about 7 years ago? I would have loved that thing.

Got a Fuji X-T10 mirror-less camera back last fall and have really loved it. Probably overkill unless you're a camera nerd, but I'll probably never go back to DSLR.

Cordless Dyson. Maybe not as techy as the Roomba, but cordless and lightweight yet still powerful makes the vacuuming easy enough that it may go from something I begrudgingly do not often enough to something I do multiple times a week, at least for spot cleaning.

noise cancelling Bluetooth earbuds.
paid $23 for them and use them everyday
Tech doesn't always have to be expensive to make a difference

I've been looking into getting one of these.
I have a question, Anonymous, "Do you know if/how well it works on brick floors?"

I don't have any brick or paver floors, so I can't give my personal opinion. I can say that it is really good at keeping my hardwood floors clean; and it easily transitions to carpeted areas.
I have a lot of pets, so this has been a life saver when it comes to cleaning hair. I was tired of needing to vacuum everyday. Now, I can have this run automatically every morning and only deep clean with my dyson once a week.

What brand or where did you get these?

Talk to me about the Roomba. I have always been on the fence about it, and never pulled the trigger.
Does this thing run until the battery runs out, then head back to its dock, and start from where it left off or just start anew cleaning the same spots?

re: Roomba
I got this one used for about $110.
You need to check out a website called SHOP GOODWILL. You can get a ton of other things on there, like soundbars, espresso machines, watches, etc. you just have to get over the fact that the original owners might be dead now.

I just moved into a house with a custom wood look tile that is made to look like an older wood floor and has a lot of unevenness in it, and my Neato Botvac D80 is amazing on it.
I was worried how it would do at the new place, but first run through at the new house it cleaned the entire downstairs (2,300 sf) without needing assistance. I wouldn't recommend the Neato XV series as I had issues with mine, but the Botvac has been amazing in 2 different houses now.

Man...don't tell me that...don't tell me that! I just started a thread on the OT last week that basically has me sold on the Neato XV21...

I liked mine until after about 9 months the dirt bin would pop out and it would stop running every time it went over a floor transition.
The Botvac D80 has a redesigned filter box that is larger and more secure, and it has a side brush so you don't end up with a clean room except for a 1/2 inch around the perimeter. The D80 isn't nearly as loud either. Save a little longer and get the D80, it's worth the extra money.

I was on the fence for a while about it too. Finally found it on sale and decided to pull the trigger.
Out of the box to vacuuming the floor took less than a minute. Extremely easy to set up and program. It goes in random patterns, but seems to get quicker over the days, and once it is finished it will self dock itself and recharge.
I have it set to start everyday around 9 am. It does a really good job with my pet's hair, and the carpeted areas look great. The low profile (about 3 inches or so) means it can get under couches and chairs for a good cleaning.
I do find that I need to empty the bin a couple of times during its cleaning cycle. The bin is rather small, and I have several pets so it fills quick. Other than that, no problems at all.
I'll still vacuum with my dyson once a week or so for a good, deep clean. But the Roomba means I don't need to manually do it every damn day because of pet hair.
