You should be able to use the Hulu streaming app installed on the TV.

Is it safe to assume that all 4 tvs are smart tvs since the "main" tv is hardwired to the internet? If so you should be able to use the Hulu app already provided with all 4 tvs. That being said, I've personally seen better performance with apps on plug in devices (Firestick and Roku) than I have with those provided with the smart tvs (Sony and LG). I personally prefer the performance and interface of the Roku.

If you use the apps provided with the tvs, you will need to use that tv's remote. If you chose to use a plug-in device you can use the provided remote to perform most of the daily functions.

I use Hulu Live in place of cable. It's ok. The interface takes some getting used to. I'm probably in the minority here but I like Hulu's interface better than YouTube TV's. I find Hulu to be glitchier on the Firestick than it is on the Roku. More buffering and sometimes it will just cut off and go to the Firestick home screen.

Good luck with Hulu. I raged quit them last fall.

I got tired of:

-my "no adds" plan constantly having adds. Having to call tech support and exit out, reload Hulu. Seemed to be a constant problem with my Roku app. They couldn't fix one episode of Alone that I had recorded. Unable to fast forward thru any commercial on just that one episode.

-Every time I'd try to watch a football game on my phone, I'd have to log back into the app. Since my phone had passwords saved, it would reject the old password, saying it was "incorrect." But when it would force a change to the password, I would try the saved, old password from my phone and it would reject and say "can't use old password." It cannot be "incorrect" and "old."

I think this is related to the network airing the show, and whether it's been 24 hours or more since the original airing. I deal with the same crap with Paramount+ like this. Bravo (I'm not gay) seems to be the worst on Hulu, but I don't know that I watch a single show on the big networks (ABC/NBC/CBS) that isn't sports. It's not unique to Hulu though, as I can't rewind some soccer matches while they're still in progress on Paramount+, but if I wait until the match is over, I can do what I want.

You mentioned better performance on plug in devices than the app on Smart TV. Can you elaborate? Reason I’m asking is we use Hulu through our Samsung TV app. Sometimes it is blurry or hazy. I’ve just blamed it on our Starlink but now wondering if using a plug in would solve this issue.
