Apple revealed an iPhone 12 mini that includes a 5.4-inch screen and starts at $699.

The most expensive iPhone is the iPhone 12 Pro Max that starts at $1,099. The phones come in five colors and include a ceramic shield to protect the iPhone from accidental drops.

Apple is no longer including headphones or a power adapter in the iPhone box, but it will still come with a USB-C to Lightning cable. If purchased from Apple, EarPods and the 5W USB Power Adapter each cost $19.

Don't care about the headphones but not including a power adapter is a load of horse shite

Lol that Apple was still sending 5W chargers, now you don't get one at all.

But let me guess, because you like Apple products, you have the distinct privilege of going straight to Apple to buy one for $30?

Best part was they spun it as a good thing they weren’t including this in the box anymore.

Maybe it was to keep costs down?

I don't know that's the only thing I can think of.

I agree with this. How many already have a box full of them.

Just make a better phone. I don't care about all the battery sucking software.

I have drawer full of the old power adapters for regular usb. I have none of the usb c power adapters though.

I also just realized when I upgrade (iphone 8 crapped out on me 2 weeks ago) I won't be able to charge in my vehicle which sucks for long road trips.

You can still use a USBA-Lightning cable to charge. The USB-C-Lightning cable allows for faster charging.

All in the name of “reducing waste” for the environment. Now they’ll so graciously offer to sell consumers one for $20 that'll come with its own plastic packaging and create separate shipping demand. So yeah, I’m calling bullshite on the “environmentally conscious” message. It’s a pure money grab, but that is obvious.

They're including the cord right? That's the only thing I need as cords break all the time. I have a drawer full of those damn square adapters.

But they're including a lightning to USB C cable? How many normal iPhone users have USB C wall warts?

I know my wife doesn't and she sure as hell aint taking mine

Yea I don't mind them taking it out....but to say it is to save the environment is incredibly disingenuous.

My issue with it is the USB-C cable that comes with it. Most people don't have a USB-C charging block. To say its for environmental reasons from the woman standing on the roof is a load of bs. It's 100% about profit margins.

Having said that, I also understand that people love to bitch about apple, and those same people bitching will still be lining up to buy the shite out of this phone when it's released.

I'm fine with not including either. I don't need another charging block or the crappy wired headphones. Went wireless with charging and headphones a long time ago.

Just getting in line with the rest of their products, buy the product and buy a dongle for using it. It’s the Apple way. I’m still convinced the headphone jack was removed as a way to get you to buy AirPods or Beats.

I’ve got a sexy MacBook Pro, well it is only sexy until I need to use it, then it has all kinds of shite dangling off of it to be practical.

Here, buy our overpriced laptop, and $300 with of dongles to function on the real world.

You realize most laptops are moving this way right? Especially with the incredible versatility of thunderbolt

Laptops should be built in with a ton of ports. It’s what their appeal is, productivity on the go. Nobody wants to have to pack an additional dock, dongle, or hub just to have basic functionality.
