Yes, that is an extremely significant difference. If you can't see that you just have a blind hatred of Google with no basis in reality.
It's especially true since your entire point has been that Google "sells your data to the highest bidder". That is a lie. And now that I've called you on it, you are moving the goal posts.
And you mentioned your hatred of Google in this thread before I even commented, so that whole "Android fan boy derailing the thread" argument is also a lie. Couple that with the fact that I entered this thread to ask about upgrading an iPhone...
Just take your loss and move on man.

Not a data issue with me, but Google trying to manipulate the 2020 elections by removing conservative media. Facebook too.

C'mon man. Google takes all they know about you and "lets" marketers use that information to target advertise you for a big fat fee.
If that ain't selling your shite out to whoever pays for it what is?

But that isn't what they do man.
Here is what they actually do.
Say I'm a company like Bass pro, and I want to Target marketing to people who are into fishing. I pay Google money, and they get my ads to people who have browsed for fishing sites. Bass pro doesn't know anything about you. None of you info has ever left Google's hands...
That's a far cry from "they sell you info to the highest bidder".
Now if you only brought up Facebook, well, that's a different story. They were doing some shady stuff.

Well I suppose we can agree on that. I still think you're splitting hairs. Everything you write, see, say or do is up for grabs. But I see better where you are coming from.

The preapproval makes preorders so quick and easy now, less than a minute once the store loaded.

11 Pro 256GB in midnight green is officially ordered.
Was extremely quick and easy on Verizon app.

Slate Gray Pro 64 gig through ATT. Took almost an hour due to their servers being so slow but finally made it through.

My wife said she would just rather go ahead and get the XR instead of waiting for the 11 and save 100 bucks. We are going to the Apple store today to grab one

I'm about due for a new phone... Question for y'all... I have an 8 with 256 gigs... I got it because in the past I always felt like I was running out of storage. Looking at my available storage on my current phone I'm only using 50 gigs.... does it make sense to buy another 256 gig or should I get 64 or 128?

even though 64gb is an unacceptable minimum storage, i couldnt imagine going over it. who keeps that much shite on their phone lol. i always get 64 and have had 0 problems

I stay right around 64 gig, I wish they would bump the base up to 128. I had to go 256.

I'm leaving it up to her. She is coming from a 6s that is on its second battery and barely holds a charge anymore. The phone has held up great other than the battery, but it is going to be a huge upgrade regardless.
We are about to head up to the Apple store so she can play around and decide between the two

If that’s all you have used, I see no reason to go above that, unless you foresee a large jump in what you have stored on your phone.
After two years, I’m up to 117GB of used storage on my X, so I had to go with the 256GB model to be safe.

some people like to have all of their music locally and in the cloud. I don't, but i can see how you might want more than 64 gigs if you prefer that practice.
for instance: if you dont have an unlimited data plan maybe you dont want to stream your music every morning on the way to work and instead just play it off the phones hard drive.
