Typically this is a huge time for tv sales but I’m not seeing much... currently looking for something in the 40-50 inch range for my outdoor patio.. any suggestions? Would like to keep it to $300 or lower since it’s going to be outdoors. If I get 3-4 years out of it I’ll be happy. Thanks fellas

THe sales usually start the week after...Old models are usually phased out and the new ones start to show up.

I’ve had my eye on a few models but the prices haven’t been as low as they were around Black Friday at least for the ones I have been following.

It's not uncommon for a lot of people buy new right before the game, watch it , then returning right after. Should be a good time to make a deal.

Super bowl week TVs are on the same pricing as Black Friday, at least with the a tier brands.

I’m only seeing the lower end models on sale this year. Prices on higher models are not as low as Black Friday.

Just got 55" TCL 6 series (55R635) from Walmart for $578

For this price, I'm nothing short of blown away by this TV

Hate starting a new thread so I’ll ask here

Browsed our local Best Buy tonight looking for a new TV for movies/sports/Netflix. Room has medium light. No gaming.

Want a 65 inch. I’m leaning toward OLED.

LG CX vs Sony A8H vs Sony A9G. There was also a Vizio I saw a Best Buy but worried about long term quality. Kinda concerned about LG as well to be honest but have seen good reviews on the CX

Or any other recs. Gracias

ETA: the Samsung 65-inch Class QLED Q800T did look nice too

I’m no expert, but as far as OLED screens go I think the LG CX is pretty much the gold standard. If you can afford it, I think you’ll be happy.

We’re only about two weeks away from the new model releases. I am told the 2021 TVs will be significantly higher in quality and features. Because of the virus, 2020 manufacturers kind of held off on updates with labor problems and all. Plus people were buying TVs by a ton in 2020 so need to innovate.

Thus the price of 2020 models will dip a bit, maybe back to Black Friday prices.

Also have read that 2021 prices will be in line with 2020. But I would imagine it will be several weeks before we see any sales on the 2021s.

I think I’m going to hold off on an 85 inch until I see the new Sony x900J and x950J models. Supposed to be kickass.

Yes, the LG CX model is a fine OLED unit and $500 less than the similar Sony at the higher end. But ... the 2021 LG OLED models are going to be brighter and bigger.
