Can you no longer do screenshots from long pressing power only? There has to be a non-2 handed option.

Swipe up from the bottom and you can screenshot an app. I think the only way to screenshot the desktop is to hold power+voldown.

Mine worked from the beginning but then one day stopped working. Had to restart and it worked again. You are swiping up from the very bottom, below the search bar? You have to kind of hold it too, you can't just quickly swipe up. Then Screenshot and Select should appear at the bottom of the screen.

I'm pretty sick of Chrome crashing multiple times a day though.

Right, it's the same gesture as task switcher, only now there are the screenshot and select options.

I like it, but I wish they had kept the screenshot on power long-press, too. I see that they have added payments and google home stuff to that screen and are short on space, though.

I don't see anything good about this update.

Hit the square on the bottom bar. To the right of the circle.

It zooms out kind of and the screenshot button is there.

You can enable screen recording from the tools at the top where flashlight and wifi etc are without needing a screen recording app. I haven't really tried it out.

I haven't really noticed what the difference in the messages thing is but I haven't had messages from different apps at the same time

I've got the pixel 2. Bottom "bar" has a button I can hit to flip between programs on the fly. Mine looks like a square. It's the bottom right button.

He has gestures set up differently than you.

If you have the gesture set up that's just a solid line on the bottom, you just swipe up in the same fashion you would to pull up your recent apps.

Me neither. I liked on v. 10 I could use the swipe up on my home screen to bring up open apps. But now I have to tap an app icon and bring it up to get that to work. Annoys me.

You can still do power + volume down. I think the swipe up only works if you have gestures enabled. I don't, so I don't get the option to screenshot when I swipe up.

I really liked the power button option, but I'm fine trading that for my smart home options.

I figured it out. Like bbap said, I needed to setup 3 button gestures, not 2 button. Now I see screenshot and select as options.

Thanks!
