Amazon Prime Shipping Issue

Anyone else having trouble these days?
Ordered an item. Delivery set for This last Friday by 9pm. That’s Amazons decision and what was posted on the order status along with shipment tracking. Check tracking Friday afternoon. Shipment reached carrier facility in BR at 3am. Cool. Around 8pm the status changes to delayed (delivery expected between Nov 17-20. If not received by Wednesday, contact us) LOL how does it get to BR and then get delayed?
So, I chat with CS. Turns out Amazon logistics is the carrier. I’m assured there was a mix up with other packages and that the carrier has been disciplined and my order will be delivered today. It’s 8pm, still nothing. Chat again. Now they are saying the previous person should have never told me that cause the delivery is still delayed and won’t be delivered until at least Monday. For my trouble, I’m getting a $5 promotional credit.

Yeah they've really turned into shite...at least you got a credit, this has happened a few times to me recently and they just offer to cancel the order

They're struggling with their deliveries right now. Yesterday a woman was delivering a few houses down and her car was covered in boxes. Makes me think the drivers have to load their cars and they hired a bunch that don't know what the frick they're doing so deliveries are taking longer.

Mine are always on time and I order for the house and the office. Ship to both locations constantly. Must be a regional thing.

I was supposed to have something delivered today and tomorrow.
The one today didn’t show up and I received an email stating they were sorry but package is delayed. We’ll see if they show up tomorrow.
It’s not really important, just some household items, but I never had this problem until recently with this AMZL US bullshite.
The package was in BR yesterday at 10:30. So what happened?
ETA: Google AMZL US sucks and behold the results.

Sounds like they are taking the home depot approach. Ship it to a warehouse and hire two goes to rent an enterprise truck and deliver the items from there.

They've been pretty bad lately. Probably 1/3 of my last 20 packages have been late, and I just got an email that they lost my last order.

When I order prime, I expect it to basically be basically 3-5 days shipping now.
When I pay extra for faster shipping, and that delivery date is broken and winds up being just like the 2day shipping I already pay for, I ask for the shipping to be refunded. I'm 1/1 on the request. I don't feel like it is unreasonable.

I'm still waiting on a package that was in my city Thursday at 2am, which then went out for delivery Friday

Yes, I lost my shite on them for an item that was onsale and then gave me an error when I went to purchase it. They refused everything.
And then in a 180 turn around I ordered the wrong purfume for my wifes birthday. I tried to cancel like 5 minutes after ordering and it wouldnt let me. Chatted with the CS and they gave me a refund and let us keep the wrong perfume. Kicker was I was trying to cancel within 5 minutes and the freakibg item didnt ship until 3 days later. Brought that up as well, sure it got to me in days, but waiting 3 days to ship and not let me cancel was dumb.

I ordered items from Amazon as the vendor without a third party and the delivery was split between this Tuesday and Friday. Not sure what's going to happen when the stuff hits BR.

It's a mess. They do post a photo of where they left it, which is interesting. OTOH, Amazon doesn't seem to know where the packages are going. For one package, I got multiple emails telling me it might "arrive later," but it arrived on time, and on another, I got multiple emails telling me it hadn't been delivered, when it actually had, and that one culminated in an automatic refund for non-delivery.

Today, I'm expected a package "by 9 PM" that their tracking shows as still in Alabama. If they had shipped it by USPS, it would have been delivered hours ago. At least they're not spamming me with dumb emails every five minutes.

Only late orders I've had were coming from 3rd party sellers.
Having said that, I continue to see tons of bait and switch bullshite. One page states order now and receive by Tuesday. Once you go through the order page, it gives a completely different date.
If I'm logged into my Prime Account, I only want to see 2 day deliveries. Anything else, can frick off. Ought to be an option box to check to only see folks who can honor the 2 day delivery window.
