Stuff you shouldn't have to --that's the default isn't it? Tells you all you need to know about the thought process of the designers--

An OS for the Walmart crowd--

They were $899 when they first came out. It's what I have and I really like it. I've been using the stock Android phones since the original Nexus. My wife is an iPhone user.

Yeah the Walmart crowd. That's why 80% of PCs use windows. Enjoy your 1000$ Monitor stands though. Keep buying overpriced garbage.

The business world runs on Windows and Linux. Everyone I know that has a Mac puts VMware workstation on it immediately and installs Windows because half of their shite doesn't work on Mac.

You mean over SMS? That's a limitation of SMS.

iPhone won't open up iMessage and most iPhone people can't be bothered to look at other apps that do the exact same thing (eg, Groupme, wh

Apple keeps things deliberately incompatible to keep people locked in. It's smart business, but still douchy.

Your incessant, shameless defense of anything Apple is as obnoxious as many Android fanboys.

Both OSs have their ups and downs. I use both.

I prefer file management in Windows. MacOS multiple desktops is light-years ahead of Windows virtual desktops. MacOS is prettier but.. really? That has 0 bearing on functionality.

Apple makes good products. I work in IT and it wouldn't be my choice for a business laptop though.

Good products that are heavily overpriced for what you get usually. Don't even get me started on the Right to repair stuff

I have a Note 10+ and an iPhone X for work. I know the Note 10 is a new phone that just came out but even my Note 8 blew the iPhone out of the water

Just that most of these Droid/Walmart OS bois have never even touched a Mac, let alone spent anytime with one-but act like they know what they are talking about.

Generally speaking I agree. Depends on uses. A lot of Devops and sysadmins prefer MacOS due to the native terminal and bash scripts for Linux administration.

The note 10 blows the new iPhone out of the water and the note 10 is cheaper.

Android is nothing but a Linux flavor with a different skin on it. Linux is one of the most stable, customizable operating systems on the planet. Most cloud platforms run on some flavor of Linux.
