By my count 7 of today’s 16 champions league games feature Americans:

Pulisic
Reyna
Brooks
Dest
CCV
McKennie
Tillman/Sands

all potentially playing the next two days.

You missed a player. The starting keeper for Maccabi Haifa Josh Cohen. Maccabi is in the group with PSG, Juve and Benfica. With a chance to shine and Steffen having injury issues perhaps he is a dark horse candidate for the World Cup. He was also the Israeli Footballer of the year for 2020-2021.

CCV seems to be improving with every match at Celtic. He has to be in Qatar at this point

Josh Cohen

I’ve never heard of him. There is zero chance some 30 year old playing in Israel who has never been capped is going to Qatar

keeper

Scratch that. Put him on the plane.

Pulisic may be getting a lifeline. Chelsea sack Tuchel.

Bad day for the American Rangers.

Sands gave up an own goal and Tillman subbed off at the half.

Only five of those guys were developed in the states, and two of those had parents who were pros. It’s cool to see the progress but we still have a long way to go.

Does Ramsdale have a knock or is this just a good rotation spot for Turner?

He will be starting all the cup matches. Ramsdale may have a hamstring issue but he played against Man U and it didn’t look like it was bothering him.

Great to hear about Pefok. It sounded like a week-to-week injury so I wasn’t as worried.

I realize the Queen’s passing has shut down English soccer for more than a week, but is there any update on Jedi?
