Gotta love the RB that clearly kept him onside just stood there with arms up begging the AR to put his flag up.

Dest started in El Clasico yesterday, and that's like the 5th or 6th noteworthy thing that an American did this weekend.

You love to see it.

He looked very tentative in the first half which is to be expected. He got megged and beat a couple of times.

Homegrown players now makeup more than 20% of the roster spots in MLS, while minutes played by homegrown players are rising as well LINK

His USMNT days are in the past, but...

I knew Edgar Castillo had played for a fair number of clubs throughout his career.... but Cincy will be the 34 y/o's 12th club (plus 2 national teams!):

Santos Laguna, Club America, Tigres, San Luis, Puebla, Xolos, Atlas, Monterrey, Colorado, New England, Atlanta and now, Cincy

The first HGP signing was in late 2008. The 66th signing was in early 2013.

There were 66 HGP signings in 2020 alone.

Crazy. He's basically been rotting on the bench for them since making that move

Christian Pulisic was fouled 11 times by Porto today.

That's the most fouls suffered by any player in a UCL game since Lionel Messi vs Real Madrid in 2011.

Good, he needs to get used to it. CONCACAF sees that number as a challenge.

If he just finished one of those chances it would've been an all-world performance.

I think both here and abroad people really forget how dynamic he is. I saw something on Herc Gomez' show on ESPN+ the other day where they were ranking the top 5 CONCACAF players and McKennie, Dest and I think Adams were on there.

A healthy Pulisic is neck and neck with Dest in terms and is probably more important than Dest considering he's going to be the focal point of the attack more times than not.
