Josh Sargent does it again. The 18 year old Missouri native has now scored in 3 straight games for Werder Bremen II, scoring again today in the 87th minute in a 3-0 win over VfB Oldenburg. That's 5 goals in 7 games for Sargent

Tim Weah spoke to the media before training. Added that he was supposed to go on loan from PSG before the season but he made the decision to remain with the club instead #USMNT
Dumb move on his part.

RB Leipzig's Ralf Rangnick confirms that two new players will arrive in January: "The players have signed. We would have loved these players right now, but the clubs were not ready to hand them over now." Kicker reports these are Tyler Adams #RBNY & Amadou Haidara #RBS

Something very interesting from BigSoccer poster @punintended_13:
Josh is obviously looking to be the striker off the bench for WB. By what I can tell, his competition for that striker-off-the-bench spot is 20 year old German striker Johannes Eggestein, who has been on the bench for both Bundesliga matches, and got an 8 minute appearance in the first one.
He played 31 times for Werder Bremen II over the last 2 years, the team Josh is currently getting time with. Here's their direct stats comparison at that level....
Johannes Eggestein: 31 apps, 3 goals (0 last season, all 3 goals came in 16/17)
Josh Sargent: 7 apps, 5 goals
He has to be knocking on his door.

Add another American to the Dutch contingent. Central Midfielder Johnny Reynolds (20) started for ADO Den Haag's U21 side in their 2-1 win over De Graafschap U21 earlier today. Reynolds has previously played for Elon University and came through the Sounders Academy. LINK

One of bigger issues for Sargent's actual playing time was bringing back Pizzaro after already adding Osako and Harnik. I think Sargent quickly will pass Eggestein.
Eta: Sargent starting today in the exhibition. On FB at 11:30 I think.

Sargent just had a possible assist in the 40th minute. Brought a cross down off his chest for himself, but his teammate got to it first. Taken off in the 70th.

Former US-U20 striker Maki Tall (22) is close to joining Ligue 2 club AC Ajaccio. Tall was released by Championat Nacional side Tours FC last week, where he amassed 9 goals in 25 total appearances. Ajaccio could use him, as their strikers have totaled only 1 goal combined so far. LINK

Why would he be released by a lower league side only to be picked up by a team in a better league?

No transfer fee, need the back-up, low risk.

His old club was in Ligue 2 last year, but was relegated.
So it may have been a mutual parting.

Looks more and more like Ledezma is signing with PSV in January. A few sources are pretty much confirming it.
Turns 18 this Thursday.
