Konrad de la Fuente makes it 2-1 USA on a free kick from the top of the box. #USMNT LINK

Indiana scored our 1st goal.

I think they are playing Costa Rica.

Interesting to learn that FC Bayern have agreed a talent development deal with FC Dallas. Dallas have been one of the best in MLS at youth development in recent years, and that's not including the likes of McKennie, Hyndman etc:

Jordan has been with Servette for some time now but wouldn't let us tweet anything about it lol. Servette is hoping to be promoted to top division, seems like a good fit for him to get matches. Congrats @JSL23_ ???? and we will keep everyone updated on his progress. #dmvabroad

15 year old Rey Serrano signs his first pro contract and will play for Seattle Sounders 2 this year. He was also called up by the US-U17s for the 2017 Nike International Friendlies and is the 6th member of the Sounders academy to sign with S2 LINK

re: Young Players Tracker and Americans Abroad Thread
pretty meh, without any real impact on the game.

i may be in the minority here, but i've seen no real progression from last year to this year at the club level, other than playing more minutes. i was hoping he'd take another step forward in being a threat offensively, but that just hasn't happened. he disappears for long stretches during games.

at this point i'd rather he went to a mid level club that would give him the opportunity to play centrally and be on the ball all game...this will obviously never happen, but it's what i'd like to see.

re: Young Players Tracker and Americans Abroad Thread
Statistically speaking he’s one of the best dribblers in Europe... at 19. He’s also in the top ten in the bundesliga in big chances created while two of his teammates are top ten in big chances missed. He’s also been playing a lot more minutes for Dortmund this year in what has been a very down year with three different coaches thus far and a team that hasn’t seemed to gel at all. He hasn’t had the end product this year I was hoping for but I’m sure he will put it together soon enough.

all of this makes a lot of sense, nd i have seen numerous chances he's created where his teammates totally screw it up. i'll also add that he rarely gets service when he does make runs into the box. i don't know if it's because he's such a small target, or some other reason, but his opportunities to score with the ball at his feet inside the box seem extremely low compared to others. he also doesn't really get opportunities for easy/cheap goals. though, i think that's also because he's late getting into the box a lot of the time.

when you add up the increase in club minutes, 3 different coaches/schemes, the heavy load physically/mentally of US World Cup expectations and the resulting failure, mixed with opposing teams probably focusing in on him more this year than last, I can understand the end product being down. i was just hoping for more.

Jason Foster
@JogaBonito_USA

Kyle Scott in #CHEHUL: 31 minutes, 42 touches, 31/33 (93.9%) passes, 5/9 duels won, 3 tackles, 1 yellow card. Tidy #CFC 1st team debut by the technical, clean passing 20 year old American midfielder. A comfortable #FACup 5th Round win was an ideal opportunity. #USYNT #USMNT ????

Erik Palmer Brown could make his debut for Kortrijk tomorrow, as he makes the matchday squad for the first time. Kortrijk take on Juan Pablo Torres' club Sporting Lokeren (Torres unfortunately is not included in the Lokeren squad)

Nick Taitague returned from a 3 month injury layoff today, started, and played 61 minutes for the Schalke U19s before being subbed off in the second half. Good to see him back
