Ensure that David Moyes has to manage whatever team Kai Rooney plays for until he inevitably heads to United and Moyes writes a book about him.

Nah. Buying an MLS team, and putting them in New Orleans would probably be 300-400 Million investment at the most.
I mean, your standard NBA team is going to cost about 300,000,000 - 400,000,000. The Grizzlies sold for 350M in 2012.
How much could FC Dallas really be worth?
