If we were going any player regardless of playing time, Manchester United still owns the rights to Bebe

Aaron Lennon - pace for day ... weak crosses and average finishing (hard for me to say because he is a Leeds product)

Downing? He's never really impressed me.

ETA: Not saying Downing is the worst player, but he's not really all that great either.

I also second the vote for Boswinga. He's got energy, but sometimes can't keep possession to save his life.

He really had a tough time but I think he'll probably end up being a quality player.

I've always thought that it may not be in the best interest of talented, young CBs to jump to top teams too early.

He's not the only one with a ton of talent that's seemed kind of overwhelmed after some growing pain type mental lapses in a high pressure setting. I'm thinking of Ranocchia at Inter, maybe Luiz at Chelsea as well.

Simon Kjaer at Roma had similarly disastrous early outings like Savic, but Roma not being on Man City's level (yet ) meant he got the chance to play though and has been improving in leaps and bounds after getting 15 or so matches under his belt.

Ledley King has played poorly this season...but Gallas makes me want to punch babies.
