Beckerman, Alvarado, Orozco Shea, Mix, Gordon, Jones... What the frick Jurgen. Where is Williams? Where is Kitchen? Where is Nguyen? I would take Edu over Orozco and Alvarado at CB. shite, I would take Chad Marshall over both of them, too. Glad to see Miazga and Nagbe on the roster, but then again if they hadn't been then I would have had a coniption fit. Where is Chandler? Not that he's impressed anyone with his play for the US...

I still don't think we should call up Morris until he turns pro.
I gotta agree here. The dude needs to go pro like yesterday.

Lletget should be there.
Bold prediction Friday: Lletget starts for us at the 2018 WC. No excuse not to get him involved early in this cycle, especially against a team like whoever the frick it is that we're playing.

Ibarra doesn't bother me all that much. He just scored for Leon in league play and is breaking into the starting lineup. Not like we have many true wing options anyway.

given the competition coming up, i would have left Hoawrd and Guzan behind, lets see what Hamid, Johnnson, Yarborough can do

Agreed. It's not like he's playing in USL or NASL anymore.

We've got our best defenders in, minus Brooks. In qualifying, go with either Howard or Guzan just to build chemistry at the very least. There's plenty of time to work the younger guys in later, and it's unlikely that any of the younger ones even play at the 2018 WC.

At least Rimando wasn't called in.

You realize there's somewhat of a chance that Jermaine Jones is on the Russia team, right?
that doesn't even matter
its about giving the team the best chance to win
plenty of times older players have played in qualifiers at the start of the process and not been including in the WC squad.

Alvarado was called up. This argument is invalid.

Nguyen
Wasn't Nguyen held back because Revs are still in playoffs? I know they called Jones in, but Nguyen is far more important to that team than Jones is.

Brooks went the full 90 for 4th place Hertha Berlin today. I thought he was hurt or something. Apparently he's available.

Brooks has been hurt or in the doghouse or something until just recently.
