For tomorrow, Australia needs to beat Paraguay by 2 goals, Germany and Ivory Coast need to beat or draw Ecuador and Curacao, and Japan needs to Hiroshima Sweden.

Group A gets flipped on its head on the last match day.
The only thing we knew for sure was Mexico had won the group... & felt like we had an idea how today would play out.
Boy were we wrong
Mexico beats Czechia 3-0 to sweep through the group... and unexpectedly send Czechia home as the last place finisher.
That's b/c the day's stunner came in the form of a 1-0 South Africa win over South Korea... moving South Africa to 2nd place & dropping South Korea down to 3rd and hoping it did enough to advance out of the group.
Final Group A Standings:
Mexico 9 pts +6 GD
South Africa 4 pts -1 GD
South Korea 3 pts -1 GD
Czechia 1 pt -4 GD
