Well after ref took a goal from Norway and let England score off the cable to get em here they were probably expecting more help

I don’t buy the whole reffing conspiracy to help Argentina. It’s been dodgy the whole tournament and in general they’ve let a lot more physical play go and Argentina (like most SA teams) is very physical.

Ending the half on a corner is ridiculous

Never seen a halftime or final whistle when a team won a corner

England has done a great job of limiting Messi so far.

Am I the only one who sees Zidane with Jude? Not saying Jude is at that quality of peak Zidane, but just how he plays, carries himself, etc. He has the same dribbling and effortless of motion while being relatively tall like Zidane

As a guy who idolizes Zizou for that 2006 tournament I think Jude has more end product to his game. Zizou is a bit more technical in his dribbling. I see the similarities.

Ive lost bets on it before.

It doesn't count if they don't take it.

Sure is, and you can see he keeps calling for the ball. That left side is wide open

I’m as neutral as it gets when it comes to England. Can’t stand them.

The officiating clearly favored Argentina that half, culminating in the ref ending the half when England had a corner.

Kind of surprised by the tone of this game.

They all watched Falklands documentaries in the hotel.

They're just sinking deep middle on defense at the expense of their attack. Wings are wide open. When Argentina get aligned correctly, they're going to put in at least one goal.

I wonder how long simeone can last out there with the amount of running he did that first half
