Using public schools as part of soccer infrastructure.

You may want to look up who their GK, and arguably best player for them in the World Cup, was.

This is Marcus Tulio Tanaka erasure.

Japan doesn't rely on dual Nats like we do.
Even if the USSF threw all of their money and resources into only California, Texas, or the northeast coast public schools, there wouldn’t be enough qualified coaches and you’d end up with the teacher version of beer cooler dads, you’d also be missing 10% of the population in private school.

You mean the goalkeeper that grew up in japan?

Well maybe we need to improve amount of quality coaching.

Oh... you don't actually know what a dual nat is.

Yeah, the US born dual nat goalkeeper.
Increasing the number of quality coaches across the US is a huge undertaking, and again population density of the US vs Japan makes that infinitely more difficult, unless you focus specifically on one high density region of the US (California, Texas, or the NE) and ignore the rest of the country. This is the biggest reason why I am a proponent of the ODP framework of development vs having the best youth coaches anchored in the MLS academies in 25 US cities.
The infrastructure and time commitment needed to get a C license, much less a B license is extremely difficult unless you do this prior to having a career outside of the sport.

From starting alongside Jude and Erling to the Chelsea farm system

Hopefully he can get healthy and start seeing some actual minutes. Gladbach didn't seem too upset about his departure

I can't stress enough that there was a time when BVB viewed the hierarchy of these three as 1) Haaland 2) Reyna 3) Jude.
His complete lack of development this past cycle was a huge hindrance to our ceiling.
