Fabian Johnson better than I thought and Howard of course
Bradley not his best so far

I've been a little bit disappointed with Howard. Think he's been pretty good, not great. Beckerman has been very good. Besler was amazing last game. Jones has been dominating.

Most: Fab, Howard, or Jones
Least: Cameron's clearance ability, at least one time that I can remember...
Eta:
@Hendo: Timmy hasn't had to do much, when he has I feel he's done a pretty good job.

Dempsey has been great on Offense. Beasley, as usual is solid in the back.

Honestly the whole team played well yesterday. We made a few mistakes. Two of those mistakes cost us.
So if you want to rag on Cameron or Bradley, that's your persuasion, I guess. But mistakes happen. I was pretty proud of the way we dominated the game yesterday.

Bradley is playing world class competition as are the rest of our guys. It is rather unfair to expect them to dominate everyone, all of the time. I have been impressed with all our players, especially the poise of young guys. We do however, need to cut out the brain farts and stupid ball plays in and around our defensive third.

Least impressive has been Brad Davis and his magical left foot.

Definitely NOT Howard imo. He keeps giving up near post goals by leaning far post. Thats a no-no.
Dempsey is just so confident right now, he stands out. I also am very impressed with Jones' athleticism (not just that amazing strike yesterday). He's been pretty solid imho.

I've always really liked fabian johnson, but man... he has really, really gotten good in the past year. He's looked unstoppable at times bombing forward in the attack. Has looked to me like a guy who some big clubs will be after pretty soon.
Agreed about Bradley. He's been decent, but we are really starting to see some of his glaring weaknesses in recent performances. These last few matches have shown why he wasn't given too much freedom in midfield @ Roma/Chievo.
Beasley has been pretty damn good. Crazy that he's been such a reliable defender... and he's probably better at LB than in midfield.
Beckerman is a guy that I used to hate and all of a sudden he seems like he's figured out his chemistry with the team... and he's been really solid, really reliable. Same goes for Bedoya. I wasn't crazy about him, but he seems like he's really gotten better in the past year.
Granted, Zusi has played pretty decently... but he's been a guy that looks pretty outmatched at times. Makes me really wonder why donovan isn't on the squad... because a player like him is one of the few things we are missing right now: Someone who can make shite happen on the ball in the attack.

Beasley played extremely well yesterday.
He played very poorly against Ghana IMO, and came back with a very solid performance.

let me preface this with I am not a knowledgeable soccer fan...Fabian looked great...the guy with the pony tail also.
The entire back row of defense looked pathetic allowing the last goal IMO

Most impressive:
1. Jermaine Jones - our best midfielder by far
2. Dempsey - 2 goals in 2 goals, what more do you want?
3. Fabs - very dangerous going forward
4. Besler - rock solid in both games
Least Impressive:
1. Bedoya - just not making an impact
2. Cameron - 2 unforgivable moments are tarnishing him right now
3. Bradley - not strong enough in possession
4. Beasley - here by default, but did look better vs. Portugal

He's the most underrated athlete on this team. I actually know Matt a little bit and played hoops with/against him back in the day. He can dunk a basketball without taking a step...once saw him do a one-handed put back jam over a couple of guys as well.
He might not be the most skilled guy on the team, but he's a superb athlete and is a smart cat - that can get you a long way as a center back.

He got forward yesterday really well and was very solid on D.

I call it lazy and undisciplined. But you are right. The second goal was pure laziness on his part and much worse.

I think I heard his name twice yesterday. I wasn't sure if that was good or bad.

Was poor vs. Ghana, did you notice that?
But hey let's just nitpick 1 player out of 8 on my list
ETA: Saying Beasley is only the 4th least impressive out of the starting 11 isn't exactly a knock against Beasley
