Where would the following team of American players finish in the Bundesliga this season?

There are too many players (Wynalda, Reyna, Dooley, Cherundolo, Keller) that played before I actually started following soccer, for me to get a feel for this team. Would they be in a relegation battle? Finish top half of the league? Challenge for european spots?
ETA: For the sake of argument, assume each player listed is at their peak when with their listed club.

They'd be better than Schalke at the moment, that's for certain.
I'm too young to make any definitive comments as well.

Probably fighting for a CL spot.

Steve C was a beast for a decade plus over there.
Really underrated national team presence imo.
If all those players were in their peak, I would still put Bobby Wood in over Wynalda, and believe they would be in the top half of the league.

I would say mid-table to Europa spots at best. The defense and midfield are fine, but who scores the goals? Most of Wynalda's success came in the 2. Bundesliga and outside of him there isn't a natural goalscorer unless you think Pulisic is gonna turn it on with less talent around him.

he is sneakily one of the players i wish we could have plucked from the past and put on the team last cycle.

No need to be sneaky about it. Dolo should be regarded as one of the top five US players ever in my view. He was a fantastic player.

Right now, I think that team would be no worse than #7 in the Bundesliga. With 2 points separating #2-6, I think this team would be in that mix.

So like I said, fighting for a CL spot.

Top half. Perhaps too 5 and fighting for a CL spot depending on injuries and depth.
The biggest issue would be scoring goals.

Not with Sargent on the squad.

Maybe if all were in their peak
But if we take how they played while in Germany
No way

I've been watching the USMNT since at least 1998. I vividly remember all of them but Dooley and Wynalda (the only two players that didn't play for the USMNT until at least 2006), and I remember pieces of Wynalda.

But you didn’t watch them in the bundesliga since you haven’t been following German soccer than long.
That team would be competitive but that starting 11 would be mid table maybe fighting for top four if this was all their peak
Some of them peaked well after they left Germany

Also pace would be a huge issue for this side
Not enough to handle the modern day bundesliga

Can we agree that Johnson, Cherundolo, Chandler, Brooks, Pulisic, Jones, and Dooley peaked in the Bundesliga?
Keller was just past his prime, but still really good. Wynalda was around his prime. Reyna left the league when he was about 26, so he couldn't be too far from entering his prime.
