2. Really into soccer. Likes to watch it on TV and plays it a lot at his daycare.

For real, just buy any type of mini soccer ball. You just want the ball at his feet.

Day care age? I would go with a premium match ball from Select, approx. $199.

in the early 90's, if you wanted ur kid to kick a leather ball around, you bought him a Mitre.

That ball was used in every HS game, club games, etc.

It wasn't a great ball, but it was a durable ball that stood up to cold arse weather and humid arse summers.

Just from a durability standpoint, we found with my kids that the Nike balls lasted forever, while the Adidas and Under Armor balls fell apart within 30-60 days of heavy use.
