Any particular reason?

Probably because the swooped in late the last few years and hijacked some of Liverpool's transfer targets. I'm also a big Brad Guzan fan.

I'm allowed to at least semi-bandwagon jump, right?

I think you should consider Arsenal as well. That may seem a bit more bandwagon-ish, but Arsenal went ten years without winning a single god damn trophy until we won the FA cup in May (the main elimination tournament in England). Arsenal plays a pretty attractive style of play, and recently have added a few exciting players, notably Alexis Sanchez who you might have seen play with Chile at the WC. They also have some great young players in Jack Wilshire, Aaron Ramsey, Yaya Sonogo, Callum Chambers, etc. They also have a kid who might be able to play for the USMNT one day in Gedion Zelalem. At the very least record their game against Crystal Palace and watch it if you have time. But the other choices in your top four (except spurs, ) are good.

It's been posted a billion times on this board, but most of us are bandwagon fans (what real connection do we have to teams an ocean away?), and we all came to supporting our clubs in our own unique way.

I consider "bandwagon" fans ones who jump for wagon to wagon. If you hitch up with a title contender right away, that's fine to most of the people on here, as long as you stick with them.

It's just "Spurs"...no "the" in front of it unless you're singing "When the Spurs Go Marching In"

I'm not going to try and sell you on Spurs. I think you should just watch as many matches as you can and see which team you gravitate towards. We have some young, talent that hasn't been able to get it totally together yet with a good, young coach. Everton had a great season last year and could possibly improve on their finish. Liverpool had a meteoric rise last season also but may find it a bit more difficult this season with Champions League matches. But they do score a lot and are fun to watch. I can't speak much to Villa because I haven't paid much attention to them, but they have a pretty good history from what I understand.

But based off what you said, I think your "final 4" are probably a good group to choose from.

You should at least watch one Chelsea game. You never know when someone will get bitten, a ball has to be dislodged from a ballman or the blues show up with a striker.

Because I think it's pointless and, honestly, a bit pathetic.
