What Injuries Have You Suffered Whilst Playing The Beautiful Game?

I am currently dealing with a nasty ankle sprain and strained hamstrings that I received in a game the day after returning from holiday in the US. It has been two weeks on now.
A completely vicious tackle from an opponent resulted in his studs going into the outside of my right ankle. My foot was dislodged from the ground and slid a short way before the blades of my right boot suddenly gripped the ground firmly again. The end result was me twisting, extending, and turning very awkwardly on my right leg before going down hard on my right leg with right hand extended and ending up on my back. I had a moment of sheer panic as I reached down to grab my foot, expecting it to be hanging loose from my leg. It was a perfect combination of a ruthless tackle, slick ground, and blades. I never wore blades before and I doubt that I will again.
Before this debacle, my only other significant injury was a thigh scrape caused by an awkward, powerful slide all the way back in secondary school.

When I was 13 travel coach's son fractured my leg in practice bc the uncoordinated bastard could put in a proper challenge and missed the ball and kicked my lower leg. He was only on the team bc his dad was our coach. Went to an urgent care and they told me it was a broken blood vessel and to lay off it for a couple weeks. Three weeks later and I made a cut in a game and snap. Full clean break right above my ankle.
Also the odd broke or dislocated toe here and there that I just end up playing through a until it heals on it's own. Last one I got was while playing fustal on deployment.

Nothing too bad. Sprained MCL playing indoor being the worst. Went for a shot at the same time the defender got there. Had trouble walking for about a month. I think I tweaked another knee ligament once in high school when someone ran into the side of my knee after clearing a ball. Couldn't run for about two weeks. In high school someone tackled me and I fell on my shoulder while my arm was pinned behind me. Couldn't lift my arm above my head for a week. Once I got my arm up to over 90 degrees, it would go dead and fall back to my side. Kept playing, just couldn't throw the ball in. Outside of some twisted ankles, I think those are the worst. I've been pretty lucky.

Sprained MCL
Too many sprained ankles to count
Nasty black eye from an elbow that swelled up so bad my eyebrow was hanging over my eye for the second half and I couldn't see out of the eye.
Head gash from a field that had football benches too close to the sideline (saved the ball from going out of bounds on the counter and we scored, so it was worth it)
I've also personally witnessed two people break their femurs player soccer. I could do without ever seeing (or hearing) that again.

I pulled my hip flexors in high school and that really sucked.
What sucked more was tearing my ACL playing pickup soccer when I was 24. And now I have bad cartilage damage that may be a result of poor patellar tracking.

I'm pretty sure I may have got a stress fracture this summer playing 5 a side. Dude kick the frick out of my leg, where I had a stress fracture before from training when I tried to do special ops.
Running 12 miles a week on top of that probably didn't help what ever it was heal. But once the weather got shitty and I stopped running on the regular the pain is gone.

When I was a freshman in high school I was playing a game with and injured shoulder. I played thru it because I was thinking its just my shoulder Ill be alright. Well I took a shot and a defender came in late and clipped me and of course I landed right on that shoulder. It ended up that I snapped my humorous.

I only keep track of the injuries I've delivered. The list is too long...

I've been lucky to only get some sprains, but I switched to Nike Venom's and got three sprains in 2 months. I haven't played since.

The field on base here was pretty much neglected the last two years. I stepped in a hole wrong and everytime I ran in my boots my heal would go numb for about two weeks.

I played for 14 years, at a relatively high level for 6 of them, and was fortunate to never have a major injury. Many minor sprains/strains though.

Was about 10ft away from a kid when a slide tackle broke his fibula and tibia.
I'll never forget that sound.

A guy slid in on me during a pickup game at LSU and my knee popped really loud and locked up. I thought I tore a ligament, but thankfully it was just a really bad sprain. I've sprained my ankle a couple times as well.

I've played soccer since I was about 5. 28 years of playing. No major injuries outside of a chipped ankle, some sprained ankles, and that's about yet.
Age 33 continuing to play indoor soccer - Torn ACL.
Had to happen sometime. I'm 16 months out from that so pretty much back to 100%, still took a long time though and getting back this late in the game can be tough.

Worst was someone broke my big toe in high school and it actually shattered one of the joints.
Took the SCH path where you assume it heals on its own but it never did. Off-season my senior year I finally go to the orthopedic surgeon and I've got bone chips all over the place.
Had to have to surgery, can't bend my big to up or down really and get a weird ghost pain every now and then.
Thank God I didn't do in my knee playing soccer, just took non-contact shite on turf at football practice to do that.
