Watched that USA doc on hbo. Weston is a goof off the field and parties in Monaco. Bet he is fun as shite to party with

Ream, Turner (his story is amazing), Reyna, Freese, and Jedi all seem like awesome dudes. But we still have a few who are just unlikeable…Weah, Musah, and Pulisic and that doucher Gregg. I think Gregg really helped kill Reyna’s love of the game there for a while. But cool doc for sure following from 22 to 26.

Oh and huge fan of Mauricio even moreso after that doc. As one who never really believes this team can go too far in the WC every four years..Mauricio has me believing that this team is going to be ready to run through a brick wall for him. I’m stoked!

Just started the last episode and it actually made me feel something when they show him crying while trying to get through the team talk after the Gold Cup loss.

US Against the World

It's on HBO Max.

In a lot of ways, it's a puff piece in that US Soccer had a lot of creative control in it (The doc starts from the 2022 World Cup and goes all the way to 2026 and it makes zero mention of the Gio stuff). But it's still good to see a lot of the behind the scenes stuff and the locker room.

I don't agree with Weah, Musah and Gregg coming off as unlikable in this.

Agree with Pulisic though, but I chalk that up to the dude being shy as frick. His attitude on camera, regardless of what he says, continues to be shite. But who cares as long as he plays well.

Agree with this, I don’t get these comments.

I also think Pulisic is fine, just dry in how he comes across and probably shy. I don’t think that dude has any ill intent.

The crappy green screen makes it seem something straight out of high school

Definitely agree with this. Pulisic (seems to be) is a good dude, just super awkward in front of a camera. He hates it. Would honestly think he’d be better at interviews by this point.
