Good, most countries don't give a shite about the women's sports, so why should a worldwide organization cater to the women's side more? It makes no money and there is monumentally less interest.
I have no issue with that, and I say that as the soon to be father of a daughter.

I'm not saying men and women should get paid the same by US Soccer.
I'm just saying that the playing field isn't level. As in, it's literally not level.
And that maybe investing in the women's program a little more wouldn't be the end of the world.

You are equating a disinterest in promoting the women's game with sexism. You haven't made a case as to why Blatter or anyone else is compelled to promote the women's game.

I left out skill for a reason. The technical and tactical sides of the game are areas where there's room for comparison.

The US specifically has no reason to. We are already at the top and have the best facilities, and our players likely are paid much more than any other set of women soccer players.

I don't know any details so I can't really comment on the overall issues.
One thing I can say from the personal experience of going to quite a few USWNT matches:
the corporate marketing to the thousands of teenage and pre-teen girls (which most seem to claim is the #1 target group) at the women's matches is on a completely different scale than anything I've seen at the men's matches.

They should be made into wealthy people because they are good at soccer? Even when there is no market demand that they be paid well for it?
It only makes sense as a sort of social justice initiative. I hate to use that phrase, but that sure seems to be the drive behind this.
"Fair pay" as a rallying cry only makes sense where someone is unfairly keeping the pay low. You can't argue that for women's soccer. People everywhere are free to support women's soccer to whatever level. They choose to support it to its current level. The team is trying to bully the federation or whoever into handing out more money.

Everyone will watch the Olympics. Not many will watch the Hex.
The women will get more exposure with being at the most popular sporting event in the world, along with the carryover from the World Cup, that's a given.
I don't think it is the fault of US Soccer that not many countries put a big emphasis on the women's side like they do the men. If the women's sport had the same level of global interest, they should be paid the same, no doubt.
ETA: Are these projections based on going into FY2017, or CY2017? Can't open doc, I'm on mobile.

Not to mention you are comparing 30 games for the women to 13 for the men. You are incapable of making a real point. Again, just stop.

The women's is just under $3 million.
