Well that settles the Richards talk. Tomorrow just got a little more interesting.

Not if the leaks are true that the CB's are Zimmerman, CCV, Ream and Long.

I think all of my major questions are answered.

Now it’s just whether Arriola makes it over Morris (I hope so), if we bring a 4th striker, and if Tillman makes it (leaks seem to think he does).

ETA: and whether de la Torre makes it

Is that even a question that matters though?

The leaks said Horvath. I’m fine with either

Sources tell CBS Sports that Zack Steffen is NOT on the USMNT World Cup roster.

Horvath, Turner, Johnson.

Umm wow.

I'm a bit ignorant and haven't followed him the past year...but wasn't he our #1 goalie up 'til his injury in summer of 2021? What makes Johnson a better goalie? I don't know anything about him.

Steffen cannot play the ball in the air, isn’t great with his feet, and has made countless careless mistakes. Needs to show drastic improvement before he gets back to playing for the National team.

He really struggles for fitness his entire career

Never seen or heard of a keeper more injured than Steffen

Wouldn't blame Greggggg for not taking a chance of wasted roster spot for back spasms even if history says he loves Steffen

Apparently the Scuffed pod dudes alluded to Steffen not being ok with a non-starting role, which would be dumb.

That’s so dumb. Turner is our best guy, and we don’t need team cancers. Bring in Johnson then.

My overall impression of Steffen's USMNT performances is this. He has had games/periods where he has had wonderful performances. But, there are also games/periods where he has had clear poor performances and blunders. I worry about his inconsistency every time he plays for the USMNT. If in addition, he is not being a good teammate as alluded above, I can understand why he may be left home.

When a single stopped shot or poor decision can make a difference, I always worried about Steffen. His decision making is poor. Turner on the other hand makes the safe decision which is fine, and honestly his distribution is better than people give him credit for. Plus I think he’s a much better shot stopper.

And Steffen's is worse than people give him credit for.
