A 4-2-3-1 with a double pivot doesn't really fit Musah or McKennie's game does it? Just tyring to think of ways to fit CP/Aaronson/ Gio on the field together.

It can fit Musah and leave McKennie more advanced. Musah would still be the one more likely to push forward than Adams.

The question I was asking, if Gio or Aaronson play in the middle of the 3, who would play beside Adams and which of Musah/Mckennie would be left out? Does that even fit Musah or McKennie to play the double pivot? The idea is to try tto get another of Gio/Aaronson on the pitch.

So you are saying a 4-2-3-1 and Gio or Aaronson playing as a 10? In that case either Musah or Weston could play a double pivot with Adams. Musah would probably provide more bite in defense but Weston more quality in the final third

In no way would I sacrifice either Musah or Weston in order to get Aaroson on the pitch. And I like Aaronson

Just put Dest Zimmerman Richards Robinson as the back 4. Put Adams in front of them. Then put Musah, McKennie, Gio, CP and Aaronson out there and let them run around and figure it out.

Ferreira with a brace. The man keeps scoring. (Meanwhile, Jonathan David has 4 goals, 2 assists in 6 games for Lille).

Looks correct, barring injuries. I also think Tillman makes it over Roldan.

I’d take Sargent over Pepi. Pepi has been dreadful since his first couple of games. Sargent at least works hard and has had a good start to the season.

GK (3): Turner and two of Horvath, Steffen, Johnson and Gaga... don't really care, Turner is the starter

CB (4): Zimmerman, Richards, CCV and one of Ream, McKenzie, Sands, EPB, Brooks, whoever is in the best form at that time... but we know it's going to be Long

LB (2): Jedi, Scally... Jedi if healthy plays every single minute in Qatar.

RB (3): Dest, Yedlin, Cannon... bring in Reggie if we need to play a back 3, because I sure as shite don't trust our other CB's.

MID (6): Musah, Adams, McKennie, Acosta, LDLT, Tillman... went back and added Tillman last to this list after realizing I only had 25 players. I'd take him because of his potential upside and versatility, but if he continues to struggle at Rangers, it'll probably be Roldan now, so it's very important Tillman gets back on track.

WING (5): Pulisic, Reyna, Weah, Aaronson, Arriola

FWD (3): Whichever three are in the best form at the time of call-up... Pefok, Ferreira, Sargent, Pepi, Wright, Vazquez

LDLT is almost certainly out as he has a bad hamstring injury. Not sure the replacement there, but likely Roldan. Might be Morris as a winger instead and assume you can play Reyna or Aaronson in midfield.

Reports are he is out three weeks. Considering out severe lack of depth at midfield, I think Gregg rolls the dice and initially calls him in next week, and will have others on standby if the recovery time takes longer.

Here they say Aaronson..

McKennie is going to be fine. Probably a good thing he picked up a minor injury, rests him up for Wales.

But if we have to replace him, I would shift Reyna in the middle, start Weah out wide and go 4-2-3-1

I would prefer Reyna as well but Gregg has only played Aaronson there so it would probably be him
