If he is as good as everyone says he is, I'd rather he not play at all.

We won't be cap-tieing him, and we'd be advertising to Germany how good he is.

I see your point, but he will be basically showing off how good he is each week in the Bundesliga. I hear he did very well in the season opener. We may even have an opportunity to cap tie him in a few weeks, right?

I can't get on board with Sheep's reasoning. Give me 90 minutes of JaB.

I doubt he starts and I also don't think he will play more than five minutes, if he plays at all.

This is his first camp with the USMNT, Klinsmann is likely calling him in to get a feel of how a camp works and get his feet wet with WCQ's next month.

Are we going to start Tim Ream over him or something? It's a midweek camp/match, they aren't going to be practicing a lot, I don't think he's just calling him in for the hell of it.

Anything other than my backline would be suicide. Actually Anything other than my backline for 330 of the 360 minutes would also be suicidal.

It will be a questionable backline regardless.

Lichaj must have fricked Klinsmann's wife. And daughter. At the same time.

Or he's Polish or something.

So how about that JaB-Cameron backline pairing?

Yeah, he may start lol I'll be pretty shocked if he doesn't start and that was the case before Fizcal got hurt.

He made it on some European team of the week too, but only like Germany France and Holland were playing matches, so I suppose it's not that big of a deal. Nice Bundesliga debut, though. He may start Wednesday.

A few interesting quotes from jurgen:

quote:

@rogbennett: Klinsmann on Timmy Chandler "The relationship is no problem. He is not here because there are other players who deserve to be ahead of him"

@rogbennett: Jurgen on Clint: His job is to keep his level the highest possible My job is to help push him... & when I'm not happy, tell him to his face

@rogbennett: I asked Jurgen Klinsmann if @landondonovan can expect a September call up: "Yep, there is a very high probability we will see him" #USMNT

Sounds like jurgy is not happy about the Dempsey move. Good news about Landon though.
