J Spector is recovering from facial injuries.

Nope. He's a left winger.

It's the ASN 100 from July, that means the Gold cup hasn't been factored into the ratings.

Well now I think it is safe to assume that Eric Lichaj will never get a call up with JK as coach. This was his best chance.

Have to think the line-up will be:
Howard
Evans-JAB-Cameron-F Johnson
Corona-Jones-One of Mix/D Williams/Sasha/ Bradley-E Johnson
Jozy
But why the hell would he invite Castillo and Fiscal out if they don't get real minutes? I would be furious if I flew all the way to fricking Sarajevo for a meaningless game right before the season started, only to play 10 minutes. But God help us if that useless sack of shite Castillo is on the field more than that.
Even though we brought only 3 Liga MX guys and 2 MLS players, it's silly to go even that far.

Meh. They get paid cash to go, they get to go to Europe on USSF's dime, they get to compete for a spot in this (and future) games, and they get their names (and maybe get to play in front of) scouts for bigger teams.
Other than travel time (and risk of injury) there aren't many drawbacks.

I don't care what happens as long as JAB plays a good bit.

Most journos seem to think he will start.

I need an update on Chandler. He's already cap-tied correct?
He made his bed, it's time that young Frankenstein lie in it.

I don't know what is going on with him, I think he is still hurt. He went the full 90 nearly every game for FCN last season, I think only the captain and the keeper had more minutes played and he was on the bench last weekend for them. Doesn't add up that he wouldn't play if he was healthy.

If he is as good as everyone says he is, I'd rather he not play at all.
We won't be cap-tieing him, and we'd be advertising to Germany how good he is.
As long as we get a good look at him in camp.

He will never be called into a German U21 camp again, so we will only need to be concerned with Jogi. Their u21 coach is pissed about it and said they've already moved on and adjusted future plans to not include him. Much less butt hurt reaction than the Icelandic FA, but he was definitely a little flustered.

Danke. That's fine. I thought he's be fully recovered by now, guess not. Hoping he makes it in for the next round of qualifiers.

He honestly may be fully recovered bc I haven't seen much saying otherwise, I'm just going off my knowledge of his past injuries and his PT with the club last season. I would like to see him move to a club with a little more ambition than FCN. They basically just try and not get relegated every season. A bit of mid table purgatory, if you will.

If I remember correctly, he's already turned down offers from more prominent bundesliga clubs.

I wouldn't be surprised, he worked hard for FCN and they showed faith in him when he was young. I'm so frustrated that he never makes it to camp, he's ridiculously versatile and could help us out in a lot of different games at RB or RW. Both of which he played for FCN last season. He seemed more active and involved at RW but their RB who replaced him was questionable.
