@PCarrESPN
#USMNT has lost 3 straight home games for the 1st time since 1997.

Current 3-game losing streak is its longest entering WCQ since 1976.

Think about the USMNT in 1997 and 1976... those are teams that this current assortment is being compared to.

And this is Klinsmann going into his 5th year in charge.

Michael Caley's xG (expected goals) from last night, hint: we're not the red

I'm really upset right now. I need Jurgen to be fired. Because right now, I just want to puke every time I think about this team.

This board is living up to the "grass fairies" label. Bunch of emo kids.

And I agree we suck right now. Worse than we would with a competent manager.

Not to mention we've lost four in a row to concacaf competition, at home, for the first time since what the 1950s or something? Gross.

You do realized that USMNT stands for United States Men's National Team, right?

nevermind, I got it. I thought you were shooting for US > Russia. Which in that case, I agree.

A coach is as good as his players are.

All I know is that I get row 1 seats when Jurgen gets tarred and feathered.

Winning a Gold Cup and getting out of the group stage at a World Cup is more than decent for a country where soccer has no history.

All this talk about tactics and style of play and possession is a bunch of baloney. They make no difference up against superior opponents unless you have the players. The man was brought in to change the culture and the way we develop young players in this country, not to get fired because he couldn't beat Brazil and Mexico.

I agree. Tactics, style of play and possession are NOT things head coaches should waste their time with.
