Good draw IMO given the rest of the group.

Watching this game I figured out that we don't have an offense and if we do we are hiding it for something in the future.

There in no winner. You just try not to lose until you advance

It looked to me like the entire second half was played in front of our goal.

This

I don't know much about soccer, but I was happy to see it end in a tie. Howard is a fricking beast IMO

A draw is for pussies. Do we have sudden death or something. How do we determine a winner?

Sudden death doesn't come until Quarterfinals

Typical Bob ball.

Am I "OK" with a draw? Of course. But I'm not thrilled.

Now that we tied with England, we can go out and play to win the rest of group play

In the group stage, they have draws and are awarded with a point. In the knockout stage, there will be extra time.

it is.. just aggravating that we didnt attack in the second half..

you could say the same thing about england in the first half minus the goal. our players were great. we neutralized one of the best players in the entire world. it only gets easier from here. we gave them problems and made it difficult. we even had the chance to win it. much, much better than at this stage in 2006 against one of the top five-seven teams in the world.

Before the match I was happy with a draw, but I am not happy with not even trying to win.

England came out from the jump in the second half looking to light us up. We survived and I'm good with that. This is easily a top 4-6 team in the world and to come away with a draw is great. We all wanted a win but I care more about breaking bracket and this goes along way in doing that. You'll see us open it up in our next games.

Bob does suck though.

Sounds like how we fought the Vietnam war and we see how that turned out. I say Attack, Attack, Attack.

I don't think that went into effect until about 10 minutes in when England came out like the terminator. They were winning every ball - you can't put that on the coach.

If there is a Bradley to be pissed at, it's baby Bradley. He fricked every chance od possesion that we had.

Still, the end result is solid. Time to win the group.

Why does Alexei keep saying we played good in the second half. We played way below average.

I agree. It's one thing to tie Germany or somebody in 1990, but that was a different era for US soccer.
