Question - I would like to sit in the AO section, I think. We don't have an AO chapter here. Do you have to be a paid member of a chapter to sit there? Or go to the tailgate?

And should I sit in the AO section? This will be my first match, I've never been able to get to the past ones in Nashville or Birmingham because they were during the week/school year.

Thanks for any advice.

There's a lot of posters who'll have a lot more advice/experience than me since I've only been to two USMNT matches ever.

I don't know about getting tickets to the AO section but my experience as a bit more mellow 30-something year old was that my favorite seats were sideline and close to curve on the side of the AO supporters but not in the section.

Close enough to watch, listen to the chants/songs but not as "interactive".

I used to go all the AS Roma matches and sit right in the middle of the ultras' curva so I get it if that's the experience you want though.

Enjoy the match!

If you sit in the AO section, you'll be focused more on the party than the game. For me personally, I prefer to focus on the game when I'm there - that's what I paid for. You can party before and after, if need be.

As your luck would have it, I have some beautiful tickets in section 110 that I need to get rid of. I'll sell them to you for what I paid for them.

I'm introducing that during the U20 World Cup game Friday night.

I think anyone could've got a supporters ticket with the promo code but I'm not sure if it's still going on. Shouldn't have any issue with the tailgate either. I'll try to get everyones info before the game if you want to do a TD meet up.

I think my dad is buying us 2 tickets tonight in the club sections (200s). Will be the second time I've seen the USA play in person. First time was when we played Argentina in Birmingham in the '96 Olympics. Will probably drive up and back in the same day.

Now that we see that it may thunderstorm all day, we may just get tickets to the GC semi in ATL instead.

Nashville FC plays Knoxville tonight. Not sure if I will make it out there with the bad weather. Dan McGuinness is hosting the pregame party tonight as well. AO Nashville will be selling glasses and scarfs. Tailgate and march info
