I don't know if that's true. Certainly not in the Ozil, Iniesta, Gotze, Silva role but in the Schweinstager, De Rossi midfield role he's very quickly becoming World Class IMO

He has to compete with the likes of Xavi, Pirlo, Schweinsteiger, Scholes, etc.
Bradley is awesome, but I really do not think he is world class at this point.
Tim Howard still makes the best case on the US for being a world class player.

I agree with this, but some of Bradley's passes were reminiscent of what Pirlo was doing against the US in the Italy game.
His touch is superb now and his passing is just off the charts.

Let's all face it guys, and I hate, hate, HATE to whine like this.
But EVERY player on this team is a red-card waiting to happen in EVERY single match we play. CONCACAF, and indeed FIFA officials treat the U.S. MNT much differently than anyone else, with the exception of one or two players like a Gattuso.

I think most of the problem was isolated to the Confederations Cup in 2009. I feel like Sepp Blatter went to the refs before the tournament and said "If you don't send off an American, you aren't getting paid." How many reds have we seen since Bradley's against Spain?

Defensively though Bradley is already better than Xavi and Pirlo and Scholes. At least in their current incarnations, all three of those guys are pretty old after all

I would probably agree with this, depending on your definition of world class. Now that he has been playing much more in a great league, I think he's going to get there.

I agree with this too. He's not among the, say, top 10 defensive midfielders but he's not too far off either.
I wouldn't really try to compare him to DLP's like Pirlo, Xavi, Scholes, Pizarro. They're kind of a position unto themselves.
Bradley's much more a true box to box midfielder.
He'd get my vote for player of the match but with a nod to Gomez as pleasant surprise of the match.
