Yep. After our top 5 or 6 guys, everyone is bringing a similiar amount of talent.

I think I'd leave...

Yedlin, Aguedlo, Goodson, Parkhurst, Davis, Mix, and Corona

You could ask me three hours from now, and four of those guys would probably be different.

And I think I could make a sound, reasonable argument as to why every one of those guys belongs in the final 23.

Jurgen has some difficult decisions to make over the next few weeks.

Jurgen has tried to get Chandler back in the picture, but he's either been injured, needed a break, or needed to focus on the club.

I'm curious as to how Davis and Corona got called in over Feilhaber.

Corona was very good for us in the Gold Cup. One of our top 3 or 4 players in that tournament.

Juan Agudelo? No need to cut him. He wasn't named to the preliminary roster.

And also because he was coming from a wintery Germany all the way to a hot humid mid afternoon tropic game. He looked completely unprepared for the heat that game.

That's a legitimate excuse IMO.
Chandler may deserve all the blame for the internal strife in the team around that time, I don't know.

But I don't really blame him for not being sure about being part of a setup that was going to put him in those kind of situations often, i.e. situations where he would have trouble performing at his normal level.
There's a lot of talk about how European teams may struggle to adjust to the heat in Brazil this summer, and that's despite arriving early there after extended training sessions with their international sides in warm conditions. So it's not unreasonable to think Chandler and other Europeans had a hard time in Honduras that afternoon.

Anyway, when he first played for the U.S. we were very excited about him and saw him as a replacement for Dolo. I have zero problem with him coming to this camp, and if he's healthy and not a locker room problem, going to Brazil. He is talented, athletic, and knows how to play against great competition.

Point of order: Isn't it about to be winter in Brazil? I mean, it will suck in the Amazon, but the coastal cities should be temperate.

After years of yelling at Bruce, Bob, and Jurgen for playing EJ. I'm almost (key word almost) sad to see him not in the 30 man roster. I still don't like the idea of him going to Brazil, but he has actually been useful in qualifying.

Jurgen doesn't seem to like Feilhaber too much. Don't know why, but he never seemed to be given much of a chance.

I can understand Corona if that spot wasn't going to be in the 23 anyway (age). I don't get Davis, though. He's in his 30s.

Davis is a left-footed player who is a specialist at deadball situations. He's slow and probably not World Cup quality, but he provides something the rest of the midfield doesn't have.

Right now we don't have a quality left-footed player, nor do we have a great free kick taker.

He's probably going to get cut, unless he does something extraordinary in camp.

I'm not worried about conditioning. Jurgen sounds like he's gonna have these guys, Chandler included, fit as frick.

I wouldn't bat an eye if Davis stayed. He'll be like the 2010 Robbie Rogers, though.

Both are equatorial, but it won't be like the Afar depression during the summer, or anything

We might could use Beasley against Ghana to combat their speed, but vs Portugal or Germany I see him as a liability, those wingers are to technically gifted for Beasley.

Bedoya makes the squad. For sure.

Anyone else think that Donovan might ne used as a 60ish minute sub in Brazil? He doesn't seem in tip top shape at the moment. He should have listened to Jurgs and played in Europe.
