Can't say I've kept up too much with the youth teams, so I don't know much about the guys who haven't played for the regular USMNT. Who are y'all looking forward to seeing?

I’m looking forward to seeing Tessmann, Booth, Paredes, and Wiley, as I view them as the most likely to make a push for the 2026 roster.

Honestly the roster is a little bit of a let down. No Diego Luna gives me big sads, guys like Pepi and Tillman weren’t released by their clubs, and Morris is out because of his recent move to Middlesbrough.

Keepers:
-Slonina needs to make a push to replace Turner.

Defenders
-Zimmerman is there for leadership
-Robinson rounding back into form would be great because we need CB stability
-Wiley shows some promise
-I just don't think Tolken is going to make it with the senior team
-Don't know much about the other 2

Midfielders:
-Busio will make C team Gold Cup rosters
-Tessman has the potential to be outstanding
-Mihalovic should dominate, he seems to randomly be awesome in Camp Cupcake and C team Gold Cups

Forwards:
-Aaronson, Booth, and Paredes all have high potential
-My biased take on Duncan is that his ceiling isn't starting striker for the senior team but he has the grit and hustle that the 9 has been missing and he is amazing at making stuff happen so he can fight for some call ups. He needs a big tournament to make his push to Europe since the Blackburn cluster, and he reportedly isn't willing to sign an extension with Orlando City.

Not calling in Luna is insane.

Really bummed at no Jalen Neal. I get that we're going old for the CB pairing, but still...

Same. And of course Luna being left out is insane. Heard he turned down an alternate position, and i don't blame him.

Also, apparently Esmir has been talking about switching to Bosnia, dunno if he would've made this team anyway but something to keep an eye on.

Isn’t Esmir eligible for the next Olympics?

There are a few players I just don’t know, but overall I thought they picked some very promising guys.

Are the biggest snubs Jalen Neal, Diego Luna, Cade Cowell, and Bajraktaraovic?

Aidan Morris isn’t a snub so I’m not counting him.

And I don’t know the birthday cutoff so
I’m not counting Jesus Ferreira.

Caleb Wiley just signed with Chelsea! Well, now I will definitely have my eyes on him.

Cade Cowell,

He played in most of the qualifiers I believe, and all of the different youth WC's so I am guessing Chivas maybe didn't release him?

Yeah he's young enough. But in an interview a couple weeks ago he was saying he'd be proud to play for Bosnia.

If we lose him on top of Vargas, that's concerning.

Slonina mostly. Would love a super solid GK for the future. Great upside to him.
Wiley on the back and Paredes up front are interesting looks.

Wild results to start the day. New Zealand beat Guinea in our group and Morocco upset Argentina in a game delayed by a pitch invasion. Our group plays Argentina’s group and if we get second in our group we play the first place team, so an Argentina loss possibly portends an easier opponent if we make the knockouts.
