Does anyone else feel like we play to the strengths of our weakest players with Poch. I feel like Pulisic has had so much less of the ball with him as the coach.

Sometimes Puli tries to hard to do everything himself. He's lost way too many dribbles and 1v1's instead of passing it off. Having other players more involved isn't a bad thing for him or the team.

I’m a fan of the three at the back tbh

Also Arfsten’s gf is a smoke show

There’s rules you know this

Flo is our best all around striker and I say this as a Sargent fan.

That was Arfstens best game for sure but I still don’t trust him at all defensively. We have way better options that keep him off the field

Roldan is still a no

Great goal by Zen. He can push Luna for that backup 10 spot for sure

With all that said Japan were shockingly bad. I would take a lot from this game with a grain of salt

While true, we need to celebrate what little we can

Just glad Blackmon got the start and the shutout. Dudes taken a lot of heat.

A dream to be called up to play for your country.
Glad it didn’t end a nightmare and he was given a 2nd game.
Good on him for showing up.

Freeman is a baller. Definitely has a higher ceiling than Scally imo

Freeman coming into his own gives us freedom to use Dest in multiple positions and not tied to RB which is clutch.

I do have sympathy for that, but also, dude should never have been called in.

Kid has promise but IMO still a ways to go. A few times last night I remember the ball getting to his feet at the edge of the top of the 18 and he just stood on it and lumped a cross to the far side of the box. He also had that one WTF moment where he shielded a ball that was running out before remembering at the last second that it was us who had touched it last

Defensively solid, still not sure I have him ahead of Scally though

I know this is complete FIFA/FM thinking but could we use a 5-2-1-2?

-----Balo------Sargeant?----

-----------CP10------------

------Adams----WM------ (Weston being box2box)

Dest---------------------------Weah

---CB---CB-----CB-----

Just thinking how we get out best athletes on field. Thoughts?

If Jedi is healthy he's on the field so then it becomes a decision of do you want another CB or another winger on the field

I brain farted on Jedi. I guess you could play Jedi at LWB Dest at RWB and Weah up top.

You could in this scenario play without a 10 and play CP at LW, Weah at RW and Balo at CF.

Can I just say, if in some alternate universe Korea, Japan, the US, and Mexico were all in a group stage…the US and Korea would’ve advanced.

Finally able to watch USA s Korea.

I like J. Sargent trying to channel Tante Käthe circa 1990 with the hair and mustache.
