Whats crazy is even though '98 and '06 were complete disasters, '18 seemed infinitely worse because you didnt even get to have the false hope.

That's not crazy at all. 18 was infinitely worse. At least in 98 and 06, the runs were ended by other teams that qualified for the World Cup. 18 was ended by T&T. The entire campaign was a complete and utter embarrassment.
