OK, so I'm still a bit new to this but I'm trying to learn. Can we just not afford a better coach, or what?

Ask the women. The apparently control the check account.

Club coaches make a lot more than national team coaches. We don’t have the money or the draw to attract decent coaches at this point.

If Austria can find and pay Rangnick less than Gregg we can find a non-neopitism hire that's slightly more qualified than a .500 mls level manager.

You have a lot of faith in USSF

We can't pay a coach more than what they pay the womens coach

Has this ever been confirmed I always just see tweets insinuating it. The collective bargaining agreement was for players not coaches correct?

I don't believe they will... I'm just stating it's possible.

The U.S. is never going to get like England where every little town has a club team. Colleges could help fill that gap with a local presence, camps allowing kids to get identified earlier, and exposing more kids to the game.

Ok this is actually a decent argument. In an ideal world though we grow the sport at the grassroots level, get pro rel, etc

We need a coach not entrenched in all the politics and doesn’t have favorites so that every current player has to earn his spot rather than the status quo.

College is nothing more than a last chance route. Our talent should and will continue to come from MLS youth academies

Of everyone involved tonight Pulisic, Balogun, Gio, Adams, and Scally are the only ones that 100% need to be for sure in the 2026 plans.

Huge Weston stan but he was atrocious this tournament. Jedi has all the potential just needs to get some touch.

Everyone else needs to step up or be replaced, including Gregg.

He guys, it looks like it’s ok now to be negative on the USSF and gregggg. And welcome to those who’ve been holding out for the past 4-5 years. You held the line well despite the vibes talk and nepotism hire.

Watch the media is starting to purposefully blame the players. Yes the players deserve it but.........

So does the Coach!
