Playing to make a statement vs playing out of necessity isn’t comparable. Alphonso Davies isn’t playing in Panama unless he has to.

He won't be playing at all regardless because pf myocarditis.
But keep in mind Canada called up its A-Squad for the Gold Cup. Herdman is been very open about saying how he wants best team to get as many competitive matches under their belt as they can.

Hoping El Sal can hold Canada to tie or loss. Canada still has to play a desperate @Costa Rica and @Panama in last window. We’d probably have to beat Mexico but I could see us still winning group if we remain within a point or two from top.

We got out off this game with no injuries other than Pepi’s nose. That is incredible lucky considering the situation for this absurd game.
Acosta had one of the best games of his life, De la Torre was really sharp, and Morris had a good game. All of Gregg’s subs besides Cannon played damn well.

Mexico looks more inept than us in the final third at the moment.
Panama does not looked overmatched in Aztecs at the moment. Final 3 games are going to be a handful.
